Description
Yates Street Victoria, beside the Dominion Hotel and Yates Street Taphouse in Victoria BC, 11x14 Acrylic on Canvas.
The Dominion Hotel is significant as the oldest continuously operating hotel in the province and reflects Victoria's evolution as a destination, first for miners and then for tourists. Since 1862, a hotel has been located on this site. Its pub has provided comfort, companionship, and cold beers to miners and tourists dating back to 1862. It was a place where you could get a good meal, share a laugh, and rest your weary bones after a long hard day.

Art provides an opportunity for kaleidoscopic thinking. Each time we shift the lens of our perceptions, we gain new perspectives — and new opportunities for innovation.💖❣️💖 CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RECENT SALE OF A WONDERFUL WORK!

Definitely one of my favorite paintings! There is a wonderful mood in this artwork; the city lights, the reflections on the sidewalk, the rain, the greyish sky! I wonder what is going on in her mind?

This image stops me. What an incredible use of light and reflection. I don't know how you do something like this with paint. Beyond love this!
